CSU Channel Islands (CI) invites you to Arts Under the Stars, a free outdoor extravaganza, featuring multimedia performances surrounding the theme Borders. Teams of student researchers, artists, and performers collaborate to bring the event together. Arts Under the Stars will take place Friday, May 5, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. in El Dorado Park, located on campus at the corner of Santa Barbara Avenue and Ventura Street. Parking is $6.
In an effort to cross the border of language, our event will have varying materials presented in both English and Spanish. This includes our program, website, and video content.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m. with a pre-show performance by CI’s Contemporary Music Ensemble, followed by the multimedia performances. The event seating is picnic style. Guests should bring blankets and chairs for this alcohol-free event. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks.
Campus parking is available with the purchase of a $6 daily permit; follow signs to the parking permit dispensers. Free parking is also available at the Camarillo Metrolink Station/Lewis Road parking lot in Camarillo with bus service to and from the campus. For details, check the schedule at www.goventura.org.
